Exploring advanced fiber-reinforced thermoplastic materials
At CPE 2026, LFT-G will showcase its long glass fiber (LGF) and long carbon fiber (LCF) reinforced thermoplastic materials, developed for applications requiring high mechanical performance, lightweight construction and reliable processing.
By combining engineering thermoplastic resins with long-fiber reinforcement, our materials offer an effective solution for replacing conventional materials in demanding applications.
A versatile reinforcement solution offering excellent stiffness, impact resistance and structural strength for automotive, industrial and consumer applications.
A high-performance reinforcement option for applications demanding outstanding stiffness, strength and further weight reduction.
Available resin systems include PP, PA6, PA66, PA12, PPA, PPS and PEEK, with customized formulations and fiber contents according to application requirements.
Lightweight replacement for metal with outstanding mechanical performance
LFT-G composite materials combine the advantages of thermoplastic processing and long-fiber reinforcement. They are designed to help manufacturers achieve lighter components, improved mechanical performance and more efficient production.
Density of approximately 1.2–1.4 g/cm³. Depending on the material and component design, LFT composites can be 100%–500% lighter than selected metal alternatives.
High stiffness, excellent impact resistance, and grade-specific options for flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance and creep resistance.
Fast molding cycles and integrated part production. For suitable applications, manufacturing efficiency can improve by more than 60% compared with selected metal processing or thermoset manufacturing processes.
